HOW WE OPERATE
Caring for Earth's resources
Nature’s Way is making moves toward carbon neutrality in the future. One is converting our primary manufacturing facility to sustainable geothermal power. We’re tapping an energy source 500 feet beneath our Green Bay headquarters that’s expected to:
- Reduce our carbon emissions by 848 tons every year
- Reduce our reliance on natural gas by approximately 7,100 dekatherms (enough to power about 208,000 average U.S. homes for a month) (1)
- Preserve, rather than deplete, the planet’s resources and continue to generate energy for the next 100 years

Ever-evolving to do better
We undertake at least one major annual project to improve how the business impacts our planet and people. In a recent push, we moved all 235 Nature’s Way herbs to 97% post-consumer recycled (PCR) bottles! It was a big job, but our teams were motivated to make packaging more sustainable and did it in under a year.
