Ingredient Sourcing
Although we rely on long-established, trusting partnerships with suppliers, we still quality-test raw materials in our labs for a variety of characteristics. Our sourcing choices are rooted in experience:

One example of sourcing excellence is in your Ginkgo biloba products. The chemical constituents of the ginkgo leaf extract must be consistent across each batch to ensure its potency in the formula. But nature doesn’t supply the same rain, sun, and soil content every year. So, our parent company established our own ginkgo farms in France, China, and the United States. By combining agrichemical-free leaves from three climates, we can adapt their ratios and ensure the same chemical quality in every batch.
Our suppliers undergo an exceptionally rigorous qualification process. If they make it past our 19-page application - covering everything from allergens to how the ingredients are produced - vendors must then disclose their safety documentation, facility audits, source verification, and processes. If they pass the second stage (many don't), the real work begins. We quarantine their materials at our labs for a battery of tests and qualfications to determine if they meet our elevated standards.
